Swap Christmas of "Friends on Friday night"

In the previous post I mentioned the Christmas swap in our group of Brescia, the "Friends of the Friday evening" indeed.

For three years now we have decided that instead of thinking of a gift for every friend of the group, focus our attention on a gift, a little more substantial, a friend pulled out at random and that varies from year to year.

Usually we do these combinations (in rotation) before the autumn fair in Vicenza, in order to be able to buy any "targeted" as we prepare for our combined.

Friday then, we all found a pizzeria and after enjoying a 'good pizza (ate impatient because of race), we exchanged our presents.

I received my gift from Lucia and I must say that, just open the package, I was speechless.

The embroidery is beautiful, the perfect assembly in detail. Watch the forceps (personalized with my initials), looks like a miniature.

I already thought about where to place it, certainly not the chops of the chair, as it should be, so too would "risk ".... position it on my chest instead preferred just like a precious trinket.

As rightly said Niky in a comment to my previous post, it seems that this year 's my birthday should not go on forever.

I know that photography leaves much to be desired, already I'm not worth anything as a photographer, if we add the fact that in these days is not at maximum brightness, this is the best I could get.

All our meetings are beautiful, I never tire of saying it, but the rally held in Villach in the first of December we are, in my opinion, the most evocative.

Look what a wonderful landscape we have booked for Clare, the organizer of this "event".

A beautiful snowfall in a charming place.

Saturday, December 4, we started a good time (this time without, unfortunately, our usual traveling companions for family reasons that have not been able to join us), and once met with Paola and family are left for Vicenza, where we waited Vania and George.
As we walked the road to reach the goal, update us with the other participants in this meeting and, shortly before the border, we found ourselves in many cold, but happy for this event.

Once you reach the goal, we also found other friends and we started toward the restaurant booked for the occasion, but do not allow escape from a visit to our favorite shops and not without admiring the houses / market located along the main street of Villach.

Happiness is always great to find all the talk and swarms.

The lottery is now customary waiting impatiently all, who knows what our combined for the occasion were prepared for us.

We retained the restaurant until the late afternoon, but ... think it over? NO, do not you see our smiling faces? How many

laughter e. .. many rumors of course!

New stroll along the streets of downtown, then to the hotel for a nap (I could not sleep well!) And evening out to dinner again ...

The next day, we, unlike the other participants, but we came back home ... not to return home, but to take this opportunity and move to Nine, where we admired the show for the organization of which so much has been used Vania.

But we will speak in the next post.

Here I have only more to say (although I would still many stories to tell), but a big thanks to Clare, supported by Helen and Matthew (her children), for the organization and a goodbye to all the friends and friends met for the occasion.

Barbara and Cristina are two friends who I met during the "Meetings of triveneto & c".

We have not seen very often (though in reality it would make me very happy) because these friends live in Trieste, Mestre, respectively, but it's always nice to re-meet when there is the possibility (or we invent an opportunity !!!).

They too, like other dear friends, you are exempting from cuddle on the occasion of my birthday just passed, and here's what they meant to me.

Barbara, which is becoming very good with sewing, I prepared this clutch ... very well done I must say, and I have it "stuffed" with something very interesting: two pieces of fabric, skeins and a nice scented heart.

Cristina generally think of me giving me something made by her, but this year, for various reasons, failed to prepare a "hand made", but not abandoned me in the wishes, but ... I just got this beautiful cut of fabric (I already have in mind how to use), accompanied, again, from a pure heart scented.

Everything beautiful is not it?

Vania I met the first meeting of "Triveneto & C." which I attended.

We met again on the road, and while she was asking me about the place of the meeting, we realized the flight to be both the hardcore xxx.

They say Brescia and Bergamo do not get along very well, I must say that Paolo (Bergamo) and me (Brescia) is not so ....

Vi premetto che questa splendida scatola (con un bellissimo ricamo sul coperchio) è stata assemblata e rivestita partendo da un semplice cartoncino... non è spettacolare???

L'ispirazione per il contenuto le è venuta pensando alle nostre "chiacchiere serali".

Quando l'ufficio è chiuso e la casa si è finalmente "calmata", ci accingiamo a ricamare e guardare un pò la televisione ma, non ci limitiamo a questo; il pc è sempre a portata hand, and then start our "letters".
